Sharing was never so much fun. Bunk beds with a whimsical hint of being portholes on a schooner voyaging across the oceans or perhaps traveling to other worlds aboard a space ship create two distinctly private spaces for the twin sisters who hang out together here. Individual lighting in each sleeping pod gives both girls the opportunity to read, relax, or write an entry to "Dear Diary" without disturbing the other.

The room's soft, white on off-white color palette accented by pastel green with gold highlights creates a soothing, distinctly feminine ambiance.

Matched denim purses stored on wall pegs become as much part of the décor as the framed prints of mythical creatures and hand puppets who "live" in their own personal wall caves, peeking out from time to time to see what's going on in the world. The frames' natural, lightly stained wood are echoed in the upper bunk ladder and wrap-around, built-in desk for visual continuity.

Two large orbs (maybe representing other planets or two giant earthly pearls?) matched to the color of each child's bed sheets provide comfy, portable seating as well as adding a playful, artistic element.
