Potted plants and two opposite banks of wall windows enhance the illusion this is a musical grotto in the woodlands.

Classic red and black, the colors of passion and power, give this music room a vibrancy that seems to say: here we honor musical visionaries from every era. Favorite albums and their dust jackets create a rhythmic pattern on one wall, perhaps inspiring the current musician. Heavy drapes in broad bands of color have a subtle air of traditional regality offset by the comfort of a contemporary armchair in scarlet.

We be jammin' here, so grab your favourite guitar or banjo and get set for an evening of improvisation and song with friends. Fabrics are natural -- leather chair and ottoman, wide-plank flooring, even a cowhide lampshade. A travel truck from the days of stagecoach travel doubles as storage and a display stand for an antique fiddle. A rifle is slung beside a standing lamp with oversized sheriff's stars climbing the base -- hey, they grow them big in Texas. The casual area rug completes the suggestion this is a cowboy's cabin for modern day musicians.
